Bifurcated Brighton/Bangkok label and experimental auditory apparatus Ceremonial Laptop returns once more to The Rose Hill to present a triple-header of ambient-inflected slime. A cradle of opalescence and vaporous yammerings from a triptych of prized local makers.
Songe
Effervescent ambient forragings from the Brighton duo. Songe’s 2023 three-song demo and new single ‘To Ashes’ have been heavily lighting up neurons at CL HQ, and we’re delighted to finally get the chance to play host to their meticulous invocations.
Joy0egg
joy0egg is an electronic musician from Brighton. They use modular synthesis to craft ooey, gooey, slimy sound worlds. Catch them presenting Inside Joy Egg on Slack City Radio or in a puddle.
Grow Fins
Brimming with fresh ideas, Grow Fins uses the same trusty "samples and guitar/vocal loops" set-up that has carried on to his ensemble project, 'a basic fault', but stripping back core elements to bare a more sensitive, melancholy mesh of frequencies.
